- Sack catalogue description: Original catalogue description (December 1968) – Queen Anne mahogany square tilt-top table, the one-board top with molded edges is made of richly grained highly figured crotch mahogany, the tapered column with medial bulbous vase turning connects the tripod base of three cabriole legs with ridged bulbous pad feet on raised pads; the exceptionally beautiful wood used in such an effective manner in the top, the strength of the cabriole legs and the successful overall proportions make this table a truly rare example. The selection of choice mahogany and the careful modeling of the cabriole legs and cushioned pad feet show the mark of a first-rank craftsman. Updated catalogue description (October 1991) – Illustrated in American Antiques from Israel Sack Collection, vol. 2, p. 490, and recently repurchased.
