Sack catalogue description: Hepplewhite mahogany inlaid tall clock, the arched hood featuring the American eagle inlaid on a globe and spire, the waist door and base with fan-inlaid quadrants and crossbanded borders; the waist door flanked by fluted quarter columns, plinth base, the enamel moon dial inscribed "EFFINGHAM EMBREE, NEW YORK"; fine mellow brown patina.
