Sack catalogue description: Chippendale cherry grandfather clock, broken arch hood with carved rosette terminals and bordered by dentiled moldings, original flame finials; fluted quarter columns, brass dial inscribed "Isaac Brokaw." Isaac Brokaw was one of New Jersey's best known clockmakers; the fine case in the Chippendale style, the brass dial and the name plate with no date or town are evidences of Brokaw's earlier productions, the brass spandrels of the dial are replacements.
