A collar and decorative band joined to form the superhumeral.
Abstract:
Essentially Roman is form, Byzantine dress looks totally new. Garments include the kneelength tunica tolaris, the pallium, and the paludamentum, which is now decorated with the tablion. Gradually, through the seventh century, the toga becomes very narrow.
