In this very handsome gown, the hip padding anticipates later versions of the farthingale. The focal point in Italian dress will continue to be the sleeves and the seam line from the top of the shoulder to the waist. Italian women show more hair than women in other countries. This turban is made of tiny silver curls.
Abstract:
Compared to the stiff English dress and the harsh and heavily decorated German dress, Italian dress is soft and sensual.
