- Frequently the cloak is richly patterned and embroidered. It is usually darker than the tunic. Typically Etruscan are the pointed shoes of oriental influence.

- A link between the Greeks and Romans, Etruscan dress is influenced by one and in turn influences the other. Shaped like a tunic, the basic garment for women and men is fairly fitted and belted at the waist. There is a variety of mantles. Nearly all garments are colorful, richly patterned, and bordered.
