A red velvet gown with soft, full sleeves, the seams caught together with pins. A beautifully embroidered chemise shows at the wide neckline and sleeve openings. The flattened bodice indicates a corset is underneath.
Abstract:
Compared to the stiff English dress and the harsh and heavily decorated German dress, Italian dress is soft and sensual.
