bronze brazier and porcelain tile with cobalt pigment with clear glaze
Notes:
Brazier: Attributed to Nishimura Doya. Simplicity of Chinese prototype. Elephant-headed leags. Alloy is certified Chinese bronze. Tile: Probably from Jingdezhen (Jiangxi Province), or Fujian kilns.
