Notes:
Wuzhun Shifan sent this to his disciple Enni Ben'en, 1202-1280, when Enni founded Jotenji Hatto in Hakata, as its gaku. From Jotenji the bokuseki went to Daitokuji, now at Chido Museum. This was Kobori Enshu's prize possession; he said he would sell it for 1000 units of gold, not expecting a buyer, but one appeared, and he lost it.
