Image 1734 depicts Blackwell wearing a wrapper (also known as a lappa) of the Fante (also known as Mfantsefo). Image 1737-1741 depict him wearing a sabador from Sengal. Image 1743-1748 depict him wearing traditional Tutsi dress (referred to as Watusi)
