Abstract:
Marriage contract, printed, ink on paper, dated 17th of Adar 2 5681 at Varnah (1921). Document has two columns of text in Rashi script, one contains the marriage agreement and the other contains the conditions of betrothal. The text is surrounded by an illuminated border in gold and multicolored inks. At the top are traditional verses, a six pointed star, and an emblem of a handshake of the bride and groom. On the sides and bottom are decorative columns with detailed botanical illustrations.
