Notes:
Manuscript on parchment of Artelouche de Alagona, Traite de fauconnerie, composed 1443. Gothic bastarda script. Signed and dated by scribe/illuminator, colophon on f. 50v reads: Cy finist le libre artelouche lequel a este escript et illumine par moy vincent philippon lan grace mil cccc et quatre.
Initials in red, blue, and gold. One full-page illustration of a falcon and the instruments used to cure various maladies on f. 45r. Several marginal flourishes and sketches (most often of birds), apparently by scribe. Rubricated.
Binding: French red-brown morocco with gilt edges inside, and with gold embossed letters on spine reading Le Libre Artelouche 1504.
