Abstract:
Studio portraits of Oglala Dakota and Chiracahua Apache men, women and children, identified as Slabee, Spotted Tail, his daughters, Black Teeth's papoose, and Red Cloud, and unidentified portraits of a woman and girl, and of a child in a cradleboard. Other photographs depict an Indian man, woman and two children posed in front of a teepee, and a view of three Indian burial scaffolds.
