Man was the second labor paper to be published in the U.S. Devoted to the working man and noted for its opposition to the Bank of the United States, it contained much on trade unions, banking, currency, and elections and also included poetry, news items, Presidential messages, and proceedings of Congress and of the New York legislature. Also issued in a weekly edition called: Working man's advocate (New York, N.Y. : 1830).
