Abstract:
Depiction of a statue of Antinous; mostly naked, cloth draped over left shoulder and around left forearm; standing on an ornate tripod. This piece was part of the collection which Conyers Middleton acquired in Rome in 1723-4 and sold to Horace Walpole in 1744.
