Formerly owned by Charles W. Frederickson, the volume being no. 625 in the catalogue of his library; sold in 1897. Later owned by Archibald Philip, Earl of Rosebery, with his armorial bookplate in the volume. Sold at the Rosebery sale, 28 June 1933, lot 688, to Maggs for W.S. Lewis.
Inlaid on page 24 in an extra-illustrated copy of: Gray, T. Odes. Printed at Strawberry-Hill, for R. & J. Dodsley in Pall-Mall, 1757.

Abstract:

View of a church, probably the parish church of Saint Giles in Stoke Poges, also known as the Stoke Poges Church. The structure, consisting of several connected buildings and with a tall spire rising from its right side, is seen in the middle distance, beyond a low picket fence and surrounded by trees.
