Notes:
The scene consists of three cherub-like individuals about to perform surgery (or an autopsy?) on a fourth lying supine upon a slab. A fifth individual watches from a gallery. An anatomical statue can be seen over this individual's left shoulder. Above is a coat of arms, divided into two portions, with three roses at the top, and three chess rooks at the bottom. All throughout the plate are floral and leafy attributes. Above the image is the motto Fama Parata Labora.
