Notes:
Sack catalogue description: Sheraton mahogany two-part extension dining table, each section with two drop leaves, reeded columns and reeded outsplayed legs with brass claw casters; each leg swivels with a bracket to support the leaves when extended, birch framework, original mellow brown patina and mint condition. A closely related table is in the President's Dining Room at the White House, Washington, D.C.; another is in the Gore House, Waltham, Massachusetts. One of the few forms of extension tables that can be definitely identified with American origin.
