Sack catalogue description: William and Mary walnut gate-leg table, oval top, the frame with a drawer at each end retaining the original teardrop brasses with serpentine arched aprons and molded borders; the turnings show a refinement that exemplifies Philadelphia at its best in that era, and consists of a series of tight knit ball and ring and bulbous members with molded and scribed borders, the bulbous feet are intact; choice mellow patina. Ex-collection Mr. and Mrs. Mitchel Taradash.
