Sack catalogue description: Hepplewhite three-panel front flame satinwood bureau, the fronts contained in crossbanded rosewood borders to panels and top edge, rectangular drop satinwood panel centering the apron, birch top and sides; ivory keyhole escutcheons, original brass knobs of seashell pattern, three knobs replaced; the long French feet with straight sides and short flaring base as well as the octagonal ivory escutcheons are Portsmouth features.
