- Sack catalogue description: Chippendale curly maple high chest of drawers, six rows of graduated drawers, the top row divided drawers with wooden spring latches on the underside; bracket feet, original bail brasses, the chest is distinguished by the exceptional curly figured striping, mellow patina and original bail brasses; the top bears the original painted inscription, "PELEG ARNOLD - LUCY ARNOLD - HIR DRAWS - PELEG ARNOLD AD 1796 MARCH 22."
