- Sack catalogue description: Queen Anne cherry lowboy, cabriole legs with fluted carving continuing on scrolled knee brackets, the delicate pad feet with similar fluting; cyma-curved scrolled apron, fan-carved center drawer, notched corner top; original brasses, light amber color. Whatever Connecticut craftsman is responsible for its creation, this lowboy stands as one of the most brilliant and successful Connecticut designs; a related highboy in Old Deerfield (now Historic Deerfield) is attributed to Aaron Roberts, Connecticut cabinetmaker (1758–1831).
