- Sack catalogue description: Classical San Domingan mahogany three-pedestal dining table, each pedestal with four outsplayed castered legs with acanthus carving, cylindrical columns with ring turnings; each top tilts, the end ones with rounded corners, the mottled figured grain is enhanced by a superb mellow brown patina; made by Duncan Phyfe. American apronless pedestal dining tables of this quality are extremely rare and this example ranks as one of the finest.
