This lowboy is a brilliant interpretation of the outstanding group of Philadelphia Queen Anne furniture with Chippendale elements combining mastery of line, form and impact of the Queen Anne expression with the focal power of the shell carving of Chippendale influence. Descended in the Bush-Snader families of Wilmington, Delaware until purchased by us in 1967; ex-collection Mrs. Walter B. Robb, Buffalo, New York.
