- Sack catalogue description: Pair of Classical mahogany lyre-back armchairs, serpentine roll arms with reeded façades, veneered crotch panels on legs; hairy paw feet, choice mellow brown patina, an interesting feature is the scrolled panels on the frame supporting the arms. Lyre-back armchairs rarely appear on the market, particularly in pairs; attributed to Duncan Phyfe.
