Sack catalogue description: Hepplewhite mahogany inlaid D-shaped five-legged card table, the panels with double line-inlaid ovals flanked by oval sunburst paterae and book-inlaid ends, the top is centered by a fan-inlaid crescent; the tapered legs with graduating bellflowers with pellets, choice mellow brown patina. Made by William Whitehead; the apparent mate to this table is illustrated in American Antiques from Israel Sack Collection, vol. 7, p. 1745, pl. P4938.
