- Sack catalogue description: Queen Anne walnut lowboy of desirable small scale and in the finest state of preservation, retaining the original warm light brown patina, the original brasses and pendant acorn drops; the deeply-carved central shell with ridged wavy border in scooped background is typical of a group with Salem and Ipswich backgrounds, the cabriole legs are finely modeled with crisp wafer pad feet. This lowboy comes from the same collection as the signed Benjamin Frothingham highboy and lowboy combination in the Winterthur Museum; it is one of the finest New England Queen Anne lowboys that we have had the privilege to offer.
