Sack catalogue description: Acorn clock with original églomisé glass panel and fusee movement, the case borders and brackets are formed of laminated dark and light strips, the brackets terminate in brass acorns; dial inscribed "Forestville Manuf. Bristol, Ct. USA." An acorn clock by this maker and scene is in the Metropolitan Museum.
