- Sack catalogue description: Pair of Hepplewhite mahogany shield-back armchairs, each splat with elliptical reeded urn with carved drapery in oval frame, serpentine-shaped arms with rolled terminals; tapered molded legs. A number of side chairs of this pattern have survived, but armchairs are a distinct rarity; a set of four sidechairs of this pattern are also available.
