Sack catalogue description: Sheraton cherry octagonal-top candlestand, a tour de force of New Hampshire creative design, the top is bordered by a diagonal checkered inlay with checkered diamond motifs flanking the octagonal center panel and repeated on outsplayed legs; the column is superbly modeled with a ringed urn and bulbous reeded support, amber patina.
