- Sack catalogue description: Pilgrim bridal chest of quartered oak and pine, the three-paneled front has a diamond paneled center with geometric end panels, the panels formed of cedar moldings and flanked by bold twin split spindles of old black paint; below the panels is a row of divided drawers with cedar panels and flanked by twin black split spindles. The design of the panels and the serrated and saw tooth moldings bear a direct relationship to the Prince-Howes court cupboard, illustrated in Nutting, Furniture of the Pilgrim Century, revised edition, pl. 197.
